Turbidity and Suspended Solids Sensorsare
highly accurate nephalometric and absorption systems using focused
lenses to monitor and control your application. Thanks to the latest
technology, it has become possible to measure turbidity and solids
content with only one sensor. The sensor has a flat face without
crevices which means fouling is almost eliminated. This makes them
ideal for food and wastewater applications.
A single sensor can accurately monitor drinking
water after filtration while monitoring the high contamination back
flush cycle at several thousand NTU. An integral automatic wiper
can be provided for very fatty or oily applications. Drains in the
Dairy and Food industry are typical applications. The sensors are
of 316 Stainless steel with sapphire, optically ground lenses to
ensure they are almost impervious to chemical and mechanical damage.
The small size (38 mm dia.) of the body and flat face allows installation
into even small lines and drains without restricting flow.
