s::can spectro::lyser. Flexibility and precision.
The
revolutionary s::can spectro::lyser is a full spectrum uv/vis spectrophotometer
probe. This unique technology allows you to measure the specific
concentrations of numerou distinct toxins that usually require the
use of several different cabinet analysers. Parameter concentrations
from g/l down to the µg/l region can be measured. Additionally,
spectral data can provide a statistical alarm system based on "difference
from normal". This provides highly sensitive detection of potentially
toxic abnormalities from the complete optical
UV/Visible spectrum, enabling a level of precision and long term
stability that has not been possible previously. The s::can spectro::lyser
can be operated in the internal data-logger mode, via PC/laptop,
or via our industrial terminal "con::stat".
The
number of concurrently available parameters is eight, and pre set
calibrations for many applications are readily available.
All
of the functions of a high quality 2-beam laboratory spectrometer
are packed into the ultra-compact and robust field instrument. s::can's
advanced software options allow the utilisation of the spectral
information for rapid and effective investigative work on almost
any liquid stream.

In
order to prevent any jeopardy to the drinking water consumers' health,
the measure data must be available continuously and without
delay. This is the only way to allow quick reaction
to changes in the water quality. These requirements can only
